President's Message - Summer 2008

Welcome to the Pittsburgh Chapter!

The ISACA Education Department has announced that the ISACA e-Learning Campus is about to launch. Initially, the campus will offer the CISA Online Review Course at www.isaca.org/elearning. The Chapter has obtained the following code to give you an additional 30 days on your course subscription length.  Use code ISACA013 at the time of payment to receive this benefit.

And since an online CISA review course is being offered, the Board would like to know if we should continue to offer a classroom CISA review course? If you are interested in the Chapter continuing the classroom course, please contact Dave Russell, our CISA/CISM Coordinator, to make your interest known.

Our organization is dedicated to enhancing the information technology audit, security, and governance profession by providing programs and seminars that meet our members educational and budgetary needs. Keeping that in mind, we are currently planning our event calendar for 2008-2009. If you have a suggestion for an event or know of a speaker that our membership would have an interest in, please contact me or any other Board member.

As noted in my prior Presidents Message, we are planning something special to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the CISA certification and the 32nd anniversary of the Pittsburgh Chapter. Keep checking back for more information.

Please let me know if there is anything our chapter can do to better serve your needs. We hope to see you at an upcoming event!

Have a great summer!
George
