Welcome to the ISACA Pittsburgh Chapter website.
As the 2010-2011 Chapter President, I am committed to working
hard with our current board to ensure professionals in audit, IT
security, and compliance can find current relevant information,
training and networking opportunities.
Also, we will endeavor to help you maintain professional
credentials and provide a resource to the community at large.
If you are a member of our chapter, I thank you
for your membership. I’m
excited about the upcoming year and hope that more of you contact a
board member to take an active role in the chapter and take
advantage of our monthly meetings and other events.
This chapter will attempt to help you in this
quest by providing training and material on how to keep up with our
ever-changing environment so you can identify risk and threats and
determine how best to resolve them.
I think it is an important for all of us to take
pride in our profession. If
you are not a member, I would invite you to consider joining us. Our
chapter can also help you achieve and maintain professional
certifications, and meet your colleagues from around the area.
I believe our chapter exists for benefit of our
members, so please let me or any board member know how we are doing
and if you have any new ideas or training you would like us to
consider. I look forward
to an excellent year ahead and success for all of us.
